KAYAK RENTAL
Start your next adventure in Jamieson. The Caravan Park is the perfect gateway for your kayaking trip, located on the Jamieson River, around the corner from the Goulburn River, and a 10min drive from Lake Eildon.
Book in advance to secure your kayak and not to miss out on a great adventure. Last minute bookings are not always possible. Start time is 9am or 2pm, please be on time.
Season opening Saturday 15 September 2022. Kayak rental is not available everyday. Change the date until you find availability.
Kayak Rental Fees: Half Day Single Kayak $55
Your hire includes: Kayak, Life Jacket, Paddle, 1 Dry Bag per Group, Introduction, pick up at the
Jamieson Brewery and Grill (or other pick up point along the Goulburn River)
For your safety: Wear enclosed shoes, weather appropriate clothing, sunscreen and take a
water bottle. Snack food is also advised.
Beginners have the opportunity to practise in the calm waters near the Caravan Park.
Once comfortable, the downstream adventure can begin. We have 7 pick-up points that vary depending on lake water levels. Half day trips range from 2 to 4 hours.

Our kayaks have a weight limit of 110kgs before they become unstable. The minimum age for downriver adventures is 8 years old. Under 18-year old’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. As the river is wild (no dam/weir above us) the river is not always safe to paddle. We will contact you if the conditions limit your options. Full refunds will be provided if considered unsafe by staff.
